My friend and I sampled a variety of dishes at this fun spot in Chelsea recently. Service was well paced and always with a smile. Their happy hour is deservedly very popular with such special drinks as green tea margaritas and ginger cosmos. The kitchen excels in seafood appetizers. Crispy crab cake and coconut shrimp were both excellent. I have also had a variety of well prepared dumplings. Sushi rolls are balanced and well prepared. The KC roll made with deep fried eel, egg, cheese, avocado, salmon, crab and white fish as well as the JB roll consisting of crunchy, spicy tuna and filet mignon joined together with eel sauce were both generous, delicious combinations. Our favorite entree was the sesame crusted tuna in peanut sauce with soba noodles, spicy mayo and wasabi. Alpha Fusion can be heartily recommended for well prepared asian fusion cuisine in an upbeat environment.
