Under the stellar direction of new chef Alex Bollinger, the kitchen excels by showcasing a new Mediterranean menu at this handsome, comfortable restaurant located in the Palomar Hotel on West P Street. Start with flavorful kale stew with house made chorizo meatballs. You would be pasta wise to savor hand cut peppardelle with braised rabbit in a bright, aromatic romesco sauce. Succulent roasted duck breast on a bed of braised red chard accompanied by port glazed black mission figs was a rich and satisfying entree. King size profiteroles covered with valhronna rasberry ganache encasing vanilla gelato were a knock out dessert. Afterwards, retire to the ever popular bar for a cordial and reminisce about Urbana's revitalized, creative Kitchen. Highly recommended.
