One of the first things you'll notice about Seattle is that no matter where you are, you'll find a spectacular view. Snow-capped mountains, sparkling waters and lush, green forests surround this "Emerald City," located between the salt waters of Puget Sound and the fresh-water Lake Washington. Probably the best way to begin discovering all Seattle has to offer is with a visit to the 605-foot high Space Needle observation deck. A left-over from the 1962 World's Fair, from this landmark you'll breathe in a 360-degree view of the city and beyond; a downtown skyline boasting one of the tallest buildings west of the Mississippi; the seven hills upon which the city is built; the shimmering waters of Elliott Bay.

Artoleptic is a free public urban arts and music festival held in the heart of Pioneer Square. Our goal is to provide a venue where people from all walks of life will join to celebrate the eclectic visual arts and music community of Seattle and specifically Pioneer Square. The event will be held in a private parking lot at 70 Yesler Ave between 604 Alaskan Way and 619 Western Ave. Our goal is to foster greater understanding and awareness of the importance of art in all aspects of our culture with an urban art showcase of unparalled quality. Artoleptic will provide exposure for urban artists through participation in live murals demonstrating that artist or group's skill and service to the community. In addition, we are dedicated to offering a free venue for our audience to meet and interact with, view the works of, and purchase art from individuals who have created it. Artoleptic is the only festival in Seattle that allows the public to view works of art created live, from start to completion. Most local festivals require payment from artists for booth space, but we believe that offering a free space for artists to show their works will open opportunities for a plethora of emerging artists in our community. Artoleptic is able to provide this space for artists because we are committed to hosting a festival free of promoter profits.
