Toronto's Festival of Beer at the 18th-century castle Fort York offers enthusiasts the opportunity to sample more than 200 different brews. Visitors to the festival can enjoy the impressive backdrop as they work their way amongst the numerous brewery stands offering everything from the palest pilsners to the deepest stouts. Food comes from various restaurants on the premises and there is live music throughout. Other attractions include brewing and cooking demonstrations and guest speakers.
Annual Queer West Arts & Culture Festival This year arrives for eight days in August on the THEME of QUEERING BOUNDRIES with arts shows, dance, music, spoken word, drama, laughs, film, community fair, books, and, of course, cabaret! After Dark hosts a widely popular zombie walk that transforms downtown Toronto into a terrifying wasteland of the undead, as well as a pair of gala parties that promise exciting prizes to lucky audience members.

A celebration of all things that make this country great! Visitors have the opportunity to marvel at the “Canadiana Ice Sculpture Exhibit” located in the Village of Yorkville Park. Our most beloved national creatures including beavers, a moose, a polar bear and an extravagant array of geese in flight, along with a nearby Inukshuk, reproduced in ice carvings for this special event.
