Provincetown is an enchanting village at the tip of Cape Cod that is like no other place in North America. Quaint, narrow streets and long wharfs remind visitors of the town's origins as a fishing and whaling village whose fishing fleet still brings in its catch. Only three miles wide at its center, much of Provincetown is National Seashore with beautiful beaches and magnificent sand dunes. The Pilgrim Monument, in the center of town, commemorating the First Landing, is the tallest all-granite structure in the United States and offers fantastic views of the town, Cape Cod and Boston.

A long-standing vacation spot for gay travelers, Provincetown hosts many annual events that draw visitors from all across the world. There are parties, sporting events, leather events, Bear Week, Women's Week and many other fun happenings to experience. It almost seems like the summer goes by too fast here. Fortunately the warm weather often lingers, and with the crowds gone, the fall is sometimes the best time to visit.

Provincetown Bears prepares a special welcome for Bears to one of North America's most famous gay resort towns. We work with local club managers to program different music and atmosphere for a week of parties. We also allow time to relax and have a true vacation. Our schedule leaves plenty of free time to enjoy the town, restaurants, cabaret shows, National Seashore park, beaches, and the daily gatherings at hotel pool decks. Traditional highlights of Provincetown in summer include the daily T-Dance and nightly 1am pizza and cruising at Spiritus. The hotels, pools and clubs are mostly within a short walk, and Commercial Street becomes one of our primary venues as a place to see and meet friends.
The day begins with a walking tour of gorgeous Secret Gardens in Provincetown’s west end from 10am-3pm. Visitors are then invited to the Provincetown Art Association and Museum to tour the Art of the Garden, an exhibition of floral works in air-conditioned galleries. All proceeds from the event benefit PAAM exhibitions and educational programs.
The Family Equality Council works to ensure equality for LGBT families by building community, changing hearts and minds, and advancing social justice for all families.
The Gala Auction of the AIDS Support Group of Cape Cod Art Auction. Fine art, vacation trips, gift certificates for restaurants and services are available to the “highest bidder.”
You're invited to join the fun at the annual Great Provincetown Schooner Regatta & Yacht Race where historic schooners and modern sloops come to Provincetown for a week of fun and lively competition. Four classes of all size boats race the same course alongside two classes of schooners in what can only be described as visually spectacular for those who love sailing. Seating on board the schooners is available for purchase offering spectators a rare chance to be in the race alongside the crew for the general public.
A 1.4 mile open water swim + kayak across magnificent Provincetown Harbor; Mermaid Brunch, Celebration of Life Concert, awards & entertainment. A quintessential, high-energy, community weekend.
