Inspired by Obon, Japan’s traditional three-day holiday honoring ancestors and thanking them for the quality of life enjoyed by the living, The Morikami will celebrate the 32nd annual Bon Festival in one fun-packed evening. Entertainment will include rousing taiko drum performances, traditional Japanese folk dancing with audience participation and a street fair with games and vendor booths. The highlight of the evening will begin at sunset when the lake surrounded by majestic gardens will be transformed into a tranquil sea of lighted lanterns that, in accordance with Japanese custom, guide the departure of ancestors’ souls who have come for a brief visit among the living. A special fireworks display will cap the enchanting evening.
The International Ballet Festival of Miami is one of South Florida’s most heralded cultural events. Considered one of the finest ballet festivals in the U.S., the International Ballet Festival of Miami brings together an international array of ballet dancers every year.

The mission of Miami Book Fair International is to promote reading, encourage writing, and heighten an awareness of literacy and the literary arts in our multi-ethnic community. Today, Miami Book Fair International is a full-scale international event that includes a Sunday-to-Sunday schedule of stellar programs, readings and special activities.
The City’s original and longest-running contemporary art fair will celebrate its 21st edition this year. As anchor of the Midtown Arts District and Miami Art Week, Art Miami’s longevity and success position it as one of the year’s most prestigious are world happenings. The Fair will showcase a wide variety of art from 100 international contemporary art galleries and prominent institutions.
Art Basel Miami Beach is the most important art show in the United States, a cultural and social highlight for the Americas. As the sister event of Switzerland's Art Basel, the most prestigious art show worldwide for the past 40 years, Art Basel Miami Beach combines an international selection of top galleries with an exciting program of special exhibitions, parties and crossover events featuring music, film, architecture and design.
The Annual Beaux Arts Festival of Art will take place on the beautiful grounds of University of Miami in Coral Gables, Florida. Over 100,000 patrons visit the Festival to view and purchase art from approximately 250 juried exhibitors from around the US and abroad.

Winter Party Festival has evolved into a week-long festival benefiting the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) community on the national and local levels. Over 10,000 guests from all over the United States and abroad attend at least one of the 25+ events -- including dance, fashion, art, dining and more -- that take place in Miami, Miami Beach and Fort Lauderdale. The climax of the Festival is the Winter Party Beach Party, a dance event on the sands of South Beach.

Run, walk or rollerblade at this annual fundraiser benefiting Care Resource, South Florida's largest and oldest HIV/AIDS organization. The course is 3.1 miles (5K) starting and ending outside the Miami Beach Convention Center.
