Want to have fun in recovery? Want to meet others in recovery from all over the world? Need a reboot on your spiritual connection? Want to finally meet your online “friends?!” The Florida Roundup is an annual gathering of the GLBT Community celebrating recovery. Yep, a little bit of everyone with one big thing in common: Recovery. Over four days of sunshine where you won’t have time to text your friends or email your boss! Instead, take your pick: pool, beach, 100+ workshops, speaker meetings, entertainment, DJ, and good old fashioned fellowship!

Run, walk or rollerblade at this annual fundraiser benefiting Care Resource, South Florida's largest and oldest HIV/AIDS organization. The course is 3.1 miles (5K) starting and ending outside the Miami Beach Convention Center.

Thanks to Miami Beach Mayor Matti Bower, the most famous sandbar in the world will join the ranks of world class cities like Sao Paulo, San Francisco, New York, Chicago, and Madrid that officially honor the gay & lesbian community by hosting its first city-supported pride event this April. The event will include a Parade down Ocean Drive, Business Expo/Festival in Lummus Park, entertainment & dancing!!

Inspired by Obon, Japan’s traditional three-day holiday honoring ancestors and thanking them for the quality of life enjoyed by the living, The Morikami will celebrate the 32nd annual Bon Festival in one fun-packed evening. Entertainment will include rousing taiko drum performances, traditional Japanese folk dancing with audience participation and a street fair with games and vendor booths. The highlight of the evening will begin at sunset when the lake surrounded by majestic gardens will be transformed into a tranquil sea of lighted lanterns that, in accordance with Japanese custom, guide the departure of ancestors’ souls who have come for a brief visit among the living. A special fireworks display will cap the enchanting evening.
