Old San Juan.
Old San Juan, with its pastel and
wrought-iron Spanish colonial houses, cobblestone streets and graceful
plazas, has a distinctly European feel. The best way to appreciate the
city's architecture is on foot. Wander to admire
the lavender, tangerine and lime building facades, the elaborate
ironwork on the porches. A street can suddenly open up to
reveal a sweeping view of the bay of San Juan.
